CRERC's Ozge Oner is Sweden's Young Researcher of the Year 2019

Dr Ozge Oner

Dr Ozge Oner, Lecturer in Real Estate and Spatial Economics in our Department of Land Economy has been given a prestigious award for research in her home country, Sweden.

Only one researcher is given the "Unga forskapriset" award each year, and for 2019 Ozge was recognised for her research on:

1) the geographical aspects of entrepreneurship (especially in retail and tourism sectors)

2) entrepreneurship (mainly among those who are foreign-born)

3) the importance of local institutions for the business environment

Ozge was presented with her award when she recently gave a lecture on her research at the Swedish Entrepreneurship Forum.
