An exclusive insight into the regeneration of UK cities

Marc Mogull Regenerating Cities Chapter

Senior Departmental Fellow Marc Mogull FRICS has contributed a chapter entitled “Linking Arms to Fight Risk” to Regenerating Cities, a newly published book edited by Waheed Nazir, Director of Planning and Regeneration at Birmingham City Council.

Regenerating Cities provides an exclusive insight into the regeneration of UK cities from the perspective of those who have been at the forefront of delivering successful regeneration over the last 40 years, and says Nazir “aims to share the knowledge of ten leading figures from industry with today’s young professionals.”

Marc is a leading industry figure in the public policy arena, with roles including: Chairman of the Bank of England’s Commercial Property Forum, advisor to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (through the HCLG/BPF Commercial Property Forum), member of the RICS Global Risk Management Forum, and Past UK Chairman of the Urban Land Institute. In 2014, Marc was the co-author of A Vision for Real Estate Finance in the UK, a landmark report prepared for the Bank of England which explored the relationship between commercial property financing and financial stability in the UK.
