Dr Franz Fuerst has been awarded a Horizon 2020 EU grant, "Incentives through Transparency: European Rental Housing Framework for the Profitability Calculation of Retrofitting Investments (RentalCal)"

Dr Franz Fuerst  and the Land Economy project team which also includes research assistants Hassan Adan and Donald Stevens will work closely with the partners, in a consortium comprising research institutions from eight European countries, on developing an assessment system for energy efficiency investments in the private residential rental market, a sector with considerable upgrading potential throughout the EU. The total value of the grant is €2.0 million.
